Before starting training at Symbiotic Training Center, athletes undergo a two-step assessment, beginning with a detailed evaluation by our expert physical therapists. This initial assessment focuses on biomechanics and movement patterns, allowing us to identify areas for improvement and create a personalized plan for each athlete. Our physical therapists are highly trained in unlocking biomechanical potential, with a central goal of enhancing mobility, stability, and injury prevention.
By working alongside the training staff at Symbiotic, we ensure that athletes not only build strength and skill but do so with a strong foundation in body awareness and injury prevention. Symbiotic Physical Therapy and Symbiotic Training Center have teamed up to provide a comprehensive, holistic approach to athlete development. Every athlete that walks through the door undergoes a full-body assessment by one of our expert physical therapists, combined with a strength, power, and agility evaluation from our team of amazing trainers. These highly skilled trainers are dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential, using the results from these thorough assessments to create a personalized program that targets individual goals, enhances performance, and reduces the risk of injury.

There’s no better place to spend the off-season than our state-of-the-art facility in San Diego. We combine physical therapy with advanced training techniques to create individualized programs for professional baseball and softball athletes, including those competing in MLB, MiLB, Independent Ball, AU, WPF, and National Team competitions. Our facility features a Normatec/Hyperice recovery room and an Edge Theory Labs hot/cold plunge room to aid in recovery, helping athletes train harder and more consistently. With an indoor mound and throwing area, athletes never have to miss a bullpen session or training opportunity, ensuring they stay on track throughout the off-season.

Our youth training programs use the same principles and methodologies as our professional athlete programming, appropriately regressed to fit the age and skill level of each athlete. Young athletes learn quickly and intuitively, making this stage of growth so beneficial for long-term success. Training with a wide range of skills and movements is fundamental for young athletes looking to specialize early, which is why our training programs combine mobility, speed & agility, plyometrics, weightlifting, and aerobic/anaerobic conditioning. We provide sport and age specific training programs in a fun and intimate environment so each young athlete can learn, grow, and have fun.
