Summer Collegiate Program
Symbiotic Training Center has partnered with Point Loma Nazarene University Biomechanics Lab to provide a summer program for athletes looking to prioritize development over game experience.
This 8-12 week summer training program is specifically designed for high school graduating seniors and college pitchers. The program is designed to enhance your pitching performance with a combination of cutting edge analysis, physical therapy, and personalized training. The program includes motion capture (MoCap) assessments at the renowned PLNU x San Diego Padres Biomechanics Lab. The lab boasts an impressive array of technology to accurately and reliably analyze mechanics such as; markerless 3D motion capture, in-mound force plates, Trackman, and Edgetronics.
Athletes will also complete two full-body physical therapy evaluations, one at the start of the summer and another at the midway point to track progress and make necessary adjustments. Additionally, a tailored 8-12-week training program will focus on building strength, mobility, and improving mechanics to help facilitate improved hitting and throwing mechanics. A pre-throwing routine will be incorporated to prepare your body for each session, and you'll have access to recovery tools like Marc Pro and Normatec to optimize recovery and reduce injury risk.
